Registration Procedure
For personnel of the Station Biologique de Roscoff, registration requests are validated by their team leader or research unit head, after the registration period has closed. If demand exceeds capacity for one or several modules, SBR personnel requests will be considered first. Remaining slots will be allocated to external personnel ordered by date of request submission.
Once the registration period has closed, a reply will be sent to all persons having submitted a registration request, mentioning whether their demand has been granted, and asking them to confirm their actual presence at the courses they requested. This, in order to be able to manage waiting lists if any. Any absence at one or more courses, without a due justification, and after having sent an attendance confirmation, can lead to a negative reply to any future participation requests.
Practicalities
The ABiMS training courses are given on site at the Station Biologique de Roscoff. For this particular session, all teaching will be done in English. Every participant will be provided with a workstation for the duration of the courses.
Courses covering a whole day start at 9am and are expected to finish around 5pm. The R for Beginners course starts at 1:30pm.
Participants not belonging to the Sation Biologique de Roscoff, may have lunch at the Station's restaurant, provided they register beforehand (about a week ahead of the courses).
